Training Overview
During 2009 and 2010 Shillington Riding club has run a successful and ambitious training programme for its members at a range of venues with local and national trainers.
The club provides training in effective riding and basic equitation, dressage, show jumping and cross-country and it has offered taster courses for showing, side saddle and Prix Caprilli.
The club’s main training bases are Rosehill in Shillington and Shuttleworth College but there have also been visits to Waresley Park and Talland International School of Equitation.
During 2011 our regular team will be offering clinics and support at rallies and camps and Victoria Lewis will be joining the team to offer support with cross-country training and judging.
In addition to our varied programme of clinics, camps and rallies we will be offering pre- competition coaching in dressage, show jumping and cross country and running a series of club competitions and team and individual selection sessions for riders wishing to represent the club at the many local, regional and national inter club competitions sponsored by British Riding Clubs.
All Members of 'Stevenage and District Riding Club' are entitled to members rates at all our clinics.
